A much anticipated wedding took place this summer. Not only because it is dear friends of ours getting married but also for the fact that the love for detail and emotions come with that. The lovely couple is Katharina (known from many of my pictures and from her blog www.ketchembunnies.com) and Gunther.
The setting was amazing. Getting ready of the bride was in the glorious „The Guest House“ in Vienna’s first district. The suite had two stories, a wonderful balcony and an incredible view of the Albertina and State Opera. It was actually a whole production team at this wedding and the best part was that it was all friends. My fiancee Nina was my second shooter and the lovely Sonja from Fashion Tweed was doing the videography. Supported by a long time friend @pictureknox. So it was so much fun to be shooting this special day.
The bride was picked up by her father in an old Rolls-Royce to be brought to the church which was about 25 minutes away in Klosterneuburg. A beautiful ceremony followed.
The couple shoot was especially cool. Even if it was 35°C, we found a beautiful spot in the middle of the vineyards. The party was set in a nice „Heurigen“ (so a restaurant style venue who is most well known for their wines). The cake was cut outside and most of the night was spent outside too. A perfect summer evening with lots of beautiful speeches, hugs and lovely people.
