Out of my experience, if a bridal couple has two seperate dates for their wedding (one civil and one in church / a bigger party), the civil wedding becomes really special. Mostly because the wedding is so much more intimate, personal, without stress and too much  shinanigans for bride and groom to worry about. Even if I didn’t attend their big wedding party in Greece, I still had the feeling that Verena and Thomas had a wonderful time on that day. For all of you who don’t know Salzburg, it is a very touristy place in summer (rightfully so) and there are an insane amount of weddings on Fridays and Saturdays in the main wedding hall in Mirabell Palace. Every 20 minutes, there is a wedding. So in the most hecitc of times, you can see up to 5 bridal parties around the area.

Still, there is a quiet little corner in the Mirabell Garden next to it where we did the first sight with the two. Even though the groom needed to wait an extra 15 minutes for the bride to arrive, it was super cute. We did the bridal shots right after the first sight, so the two could fully focus on getting married afterwards. I really enjoyed the time with them. See their photos here.
